Something about me: I always have to be in the loop, even concerning things I'm not technically privy to. I worked for 3 years in the BYU costume shop as wardrobe supervisor, stitcher and eventually first hand. It became the shop joke that I knew the answer to every question involving the shop, which was probably about 99-100% true. I would go home for Christmas or the summer and get an email soon after I'd left about something that I could solve right away. Now that I'm back working over hire it's almost the same, but not. I know the answers to about 80% of the questions, and that's just because I'm not wardrobe supervisor anymore. A part of me wants desperately to be supervisor just to have things run the way I'm used to them running, but another part of me basks in the fact that things aren't my concern. I'm really enjoying the divide between wardrobe and design. What on earth is this entry even about? I don't know. I'm tired because I went to the White Christmas rehearsal which points out another thing about me: I'm a glutton for punishment. I don't have to go to the White Christmas rehearsals, at all. I'm not getting credit or money, I just like to be around and answer the questions. I LOVE being the answer girl. I love anticipating questions and answering or solving them before they're asked. It's one of my best characteristics I think, which is why I like assisting. I was a personal assistant for 4 years and now I'm a pretty dern good costume assistant. I love anticipating and meeting needs. It's super helpful in the theatre. What is this entry about? I don't know, I just thought I'd write something for the day.
I miss having you tell me the location of my lost items.
