joined the Twitter

Ah! A blog post! Yes, I have been really rather lazy and generally not in the mood to post. It might be that I do the same thing over and over again everyday. I also think the amount of black I wear is sucking my creativity dry. Whatever the reason I'm sorry and I won't pretend it'll get better right away, but I will make an effort...tomorrow.

I did join Twitter today though. I've been hesitating as I couldn't think of a cool enough handle. Friend Christina suggested CoolHandleLuke which I was so excited ab, but some guy already has it that follows one person and has never tweeted. That makes me angry. So follow me @BelbCorinne which is my go too ambiguous nickname that I'll use as "Belle Corinne" if I ever get a shop. So yeah, follow me. I have no idea what I'll tweet, but here we gooooo!!!!

Project Runway Season 10

Summer has arrived and today is a day to wear as little clothing as possible. I've already been to St. George and back this morning and I just want to sit in my air conditioned room.

The next season of Project Runway is upon us! It premieres next Thursday, isn't that nice? I was spoiled by All Stars and so am a little wary of the new season, esp after visiting the new designer's portfolios here. Looking at the designers I'm not too terribly intrigued. Some are styled horrendously, some are just tshirts and other are sewn by monkeys. I'm always surprised at how the challenges can stretch the contestants, so here's hoping.

Buffi looks awful and esp crafty.
Kooan looks intriguing as he's obviously works for queens.
I'm actually pretty excited for Elena, Christopher, Lantie, and Dmitry.

Listen to Persuasion

BBC Radio 4 iPlayer has a broadcast of Persuasion up at the moment. I've just started listening. Persuasion is my favorite, so I'll have to find time to listen to it!

Case Histories II

I should probs read the books
I don't think many of you watched Case Histories as faithfully as Downton or Sherlock, but you should! I wish Jason Isaacs the best, but when I wasn't so into Awake and it was cancelled my only thought was "Yay! They can make more Case Histories!" And they are! I don't know if this has to do with Awake being cancelled, and frankly I don't care. I'm excited for more Jackson Brodie and to see what happens with a certain former colleague. I don't really think you can watch Case Histories legally online anymore, but you should find it legally somewhere. I'm debating making an Amazon purchase...There are no dates for series two, but let's hope it'll be so much sooner rather than later!

Opening Night Pictures

If you're my facebook friend you've seen these. I didn't take any pictures of myself bc frankly I feel vain when I do and it's such a bother, so poo poo all you want, but this is what you get.

Friend Allison and Jack and I got ready at Jack's and had a blast. I'd put my hair in curlers all day. You can't tell, but my hairs are curly curly heaps of curls. I also have a huge splay of coque feathers in my hairs curtsey of Jack. I look like I'm slouching in the photos because the shoulder pads in the dress tilt forward. I was very conscientious about keeping my shoulders back, so was a little startled to see how much it looks like I'm rolling them forward.

It was a wonderful night and I felt great and I can't wait for the crossover party so I can wear the Balenciaga I'm going to make! I LIVE to dress up and look pretty!

PS I'm labeling this as Sexy Sunday bc the party went into Sunday morning...

Jane Austen drinking game

I don't drink, but if I did this would be my game!

Friend Christina showed me this after we watched the Johnny Lee Miller Emma whilst making cherry pies for the Fourth. After we went grocery shopping. I love the feeling of a fully stocked kitchen! Baked oatmeal is in the oven and I'll soon be making gobs of enchiladas!

Yesterday was our first double day w/ Les Mis then Scapin. I am everyday grateful Scapin is a 90 minute comedy full of lovely people. Les Mis on the other hand is a 3 hour tragedy full of lovely people :).
